Pellere in Action

This innovative collaboration between Pellere Foundation and The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), focuses  on designing a pilot semi-islanded microgrid with battery backup to provide clean, reliable energy to Venango County residents and develop a regional supply chain for microgrid components, setting a precedent for sustainable development in the region. The program also aims to create a replicable blueprint for rural energy resilience.  

At Pellere, we're transforming existing under-developed buildings into energy-efficient, community-centered hubs. Our work in Oil City includes commercial renovations that will enhance usability, improve aesthetics, and foster deeper connections to the local community. These efforts, rooted in our commitment to energy resilience and economic development, aim to preserve the region’s heritage while building a vibrant, self-sustaining future for all.
